Curiously Suffolk
Showcasing all that is beautiful, interesting and curious about this little county I call home.

Wonderful Walks
Suffolk offers some fabulous and picturesque treks. On this site you’ll find popular local footpaths, alongside my favourite off the beaten track walks .

Discover Hidden Gems
What I love about Suffolk is how easy it is to find isolation. We have many beautiful and popular destinations, such as the quintessential seaside resorts of Southwold and Aldeburgh. I do love those places, but I also love the lesser known destinations, the places where you can find yourself alone with nature.
The Best of Suffolk
The most beautiful destinations for the perfect day out. Places you can unwind, enjoy a pint of Suffolk real Ale and make wonderful memories.

Suffolk Coast
The Suffolk Coast is well known for being rugged and unique. The coastline is designated an Area Of Natural Beauty (AONB) and stretches for some 50 miles. It is dotted with pretty seaside towns and tiny fishing villages. You’ll find buzzing little resorts like Felixstowe which are perfect for the kiddies, wide sandy beaches, like that at Covehithe or big swathes of shingle beach, such as the aptly named Shingle Street.

What’s to love?
Although not adorned with big hills, the Suffolk landscape is rather special. Some of the Country’s best sunrises can be found on our East facing coast and spectacular multi-coloured sunsets can be seen from our wonderful countryside. Venture into the middle of Suffolk and you will find some of the most Insta-worthy villages and small towns. Lavenham is a fine example. Home to ‘Godric’s Hollow’ in Harry Potter, it is a beautifully preserved medieval village, with wonky Tudor houses and a wealth of history.
There is much to see and discover in this wonderful little county.
